The end-of-life journey is unique for everyone touched by hospice. Our areas of support are designed with that in mind and may be able to help in your time of need.
Providing Compassionate Support to Those in Hospice
The Hospice Support Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Our purpose is to honor the memory of hospice patients by providing assistance to those who are coping with life-limiting illness, death, and grief.
Making a donation to the Hospice Support Foundation supports a wide variety of community-based services as well as research and education that can assist patients and families.
Areas of Support
Final Wishes
Help grant the last wishes of terminally ill hospice patients. Examples include celebrating holidays with family, visiting their childhood home, or seeing their favorite sports team play.
Funeral Assistance & Memorial Services
We provide assistance that can be put toward funeral and memorial service costs, such as cremation, burial, flowers for memorial services, cemetery costs.
Bereavement Activities
To help friends and family receive closure and celebrate their loved one, we provide different types of assistance, including:
- Grief counseling and literature that falls outside of the hospice benefit
- Memorial tokens to help grieving family members feel close to their deceased loved ones
- Grief camps for children, teens and adults
Support for Hospice Employees
Professional development not covered by the employer may be eligible for assistance by the Hospice Support Foundation. We may also be able to provide assistance if a hospice employee has experienced a personal emergency.
Educational Events
Sponsor presentations and talks given to the community in order to communicate the importance of hospice care.
Charitable Contributions
We offer support to hospice-related non-profit organizations and research studies.
